Fujifilm X-T5 at the ZincHouse

Last December, just a few short weeks after I had gotten my new Fujifilm X-T5, my son, Ian, and I made a visit to a local winery and brewery that I had heard about. It was a chilly late fall evening and it had just rained so the ground had a cool reflective property that worked nicely with the golden lighting. And it was just getting into blue hour.

I figured this would be a good time to test out the new camera’s low light capabilities and the IBIS (In Body Image Stabilization), which lets you shoot hand-held at really slow shutter speeds you normally wouldn’t be able to achieve without some blur. It worked out pretty well. Some of these shots were taken at 1/25 seconds shutter.

The X-T5 produces magnificent JPG images right out of the camera but, in this case, I chose to work with the raw files in Lightroom to create some dramatic colors that matched my vision of that evening.
